An amendment which I was firmly against - for obvious reasons has been halted! That is the best news in the month of September that I have received. Check here.
Kwacha Economics ran a blog on the amendment and from it. A few people have indicated the desire to have it in place the way it is. So imagine the shock when the amendment was published in the papers. Luckily for us, that idea died quicker than it came. Seriously I was of the view that even more measures need to be added instead of the proposed amendment to remove some requirements.
For example, why not add even a waybill to the requirements - ok let us not get excited as the amendment may come back.
